San Francisco, Coolhunting Style – Adilene Valencia

San Francisco, Coolhunting Style

The Grammys ended and my next destination was San Francisco, the ideal city for walking, riding a bicycle, and something even more exciting: the cable car, which I personally enjoy very much as it passes by the most touristic places.

I arrived at the Hyatt Regency Embarcadero, a beautiful hotel with a good location, super close to principal avenues and surrounded by delicious restaurants.  For a fashion addict, like me, it is an excellent place to go shopping.

I visited the most popular places like the Golden Gate Bridge.  There, you can see the famous Alcatraz Federal Penitentiary, and if you want to visit it, you can simply take a tour in the ferry.

Chinatown and The Castro particularly caught my attention for their colors and style, ideal for taking photos.

If it’s about fashion, you need to keep in mind that San Francisco is a cold place, suitable for a variety of styles in the streets.  This part excites me because it is pure coolhunting: you see women extravagantly dressed with Gucci from head to toe and then you see people with basic, creative styles or dressed in anything from a modern to a more traditional style.

Sweatshirt-style dresses with high boots, extra large sweaters with jeans and the famous fur-lined boots, ankle boots, fashion capes, and coats with the seasonal colors.

In San Francisco there is tradition and modernism, enriched by the many cultures and friendly people.  I am sharing with you some photos of the city and the outfits I selected for the trip. Tell me, what do you think?
